The role of the Expert Technology Management (m/f/d) is responsible for leading the development of and guiding the technology related aspects of our Advanced Technology Facilities (ATF) business; understanding both the technologies being used by our clients and the technology that we need to deploy to best meet our customer’s needs. Is responsible for the successful development of all work carried out for our customers in these arenas and will coordinate with the USA / SEA / NEI region management to develop and carry out market and technology related elements within the assigned market sectors (Batteries, PV).

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Leads technology assessments (external, market facing) and its associated planning (internal within Exyte)
• Provides leadership in the understanding of technical aspects of the market
• Contributes towards the development of a strategic plan with supporting tactics
• Participates in industry forums and identifies market trends and related business opportunities
• Represents the company to the target client communities, be recognized in the industry as a thought leader and trend developer, develops and maintains relationships with key clients and industry partners
• Coordinates with the Market Segment Team on business development efforts via proposals
• Develops technology roadmaps and drives joint R&D projects

Show your expertise

• Experience in a technology assessment role (trends, opportunities, challenges) within a high-tech industry environment
• Experience in implementing new technical initiatives within the organization with demonstrated ROI impact and demonstrated ability to influence internal management and customers
• Prior experience in large hi-tech manufacturing facilities (technology, operations, supply chain, capital equipment, or facilities planning) and EPC services
• Exceptional communication skills and experience of providing customer service to internal and external clients, as well as mature industry audiences
• Strong knowledge of process technologies and R&D networks
• Ability to influence management and customers, and absorb technical knowledge in new markets
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and ability to collaborate across remote offices
• Willingness to travel
