The construction manager, in accordance with the state building regulations, ensures that all assembly-related activities are carried out in accordance with the contract, the project execution plan, and applicable public law regulations. The project is a new construction project in accordance with the Rhineland-Palatinate building regulations.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Organization of the construction site, execution, and ensuring acceptance in accordance with safety, health, and environmental requirements, with a focus on acceptance under the respective state building regulations
- Support and cooperation in the conduct of expert acceptance inspections to obtain the complete documentation for acceptance under the building regulations
- Performance of services pursuant to Section 56 as construction manager under the state building regulations
- Coordination of registered specialist construction managers under the state building regulations
- Monitoring of construction site activities with regard to compliance with EHS regulations
- Review of measurements and invoices
- Risk assessment and risk prevention in collaboration with Construction Management and the Health and Safety Coordinator
- Conducting regular meetings with the client and recording these meetings
Show your expertises
- Completed studies in architecture or civil engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in independent construction supervision of large-scale projects in accordance with the German Construction Contract Regulations (LBO), as well as experience in leading project teams and subcontractors
- Experience in industrial/plant construction, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Proven excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English
- Willingness to travel within the DACH region and to stay at the project site for at least five days at a time
