We are seeking a highly motivated Engineer Instrumentation and controls (m/f/d) for our Biopharma and Life Science Business Unit in Milano, Italy. As part of our engineering team, you will play a key role in the planning, specification and coordination of automation and control systems in highly regulated GMP environments. 

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Planning, specification and design of Instrumentation and control systems for biopharma production facilities
  • Coordination with process, mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines
  • Preparation of tender documents, technical specifications and instrumentation lists
  • Review and approval of I&C documents from suppliers and subcontractors
  • On-site support during installation, commissioning and qualification
  • Ensuring compliance with GMP, GAMP and relevant industry standards
  • Supporting project management in scheduling and technical documentation
  • Interface coordination between automation, process, and construction teams

Show your expertises

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Process Engineering or a related field
  • Multiple years of experience in instrumentation and control systems, ideally in the pharma or biotech sector
  • Familiarity with relevant standards (e.g. IEC, ISA, GAMP)
  • Experience with control systems (e.g. Siemens, Emerson, ABB) is a plus
  • Strong analytical thinking, solution-oriented mindset, and structured working style
  • Fluent in English and in Italian
  • Willingness to travel and work within multidisciplinary teams
