In the role of Senior Engineering and Design Manager (m/f/d), you will ensure that the entire project planning and production process is carried out as efficiently as possible and in compliance with the specified project budget and schedule. You will be responsible for ensuring that the entire project plan is kept up to date at all times by all the specialist disciplines, trades and service providers involved.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Comprehensive coordination and control of the interfaces between the most important project disciplines (civil engineering, structural engineering, architecture, mechanical, electrical engineering, process, process automation, plant planning)
  • Management and coordination of internal and external planning and engineering partners
  • Management of design reviews (e.g. P&ID, 3D model)
  • Supporting project management in the preparation of proposals and project planning (resource planning, schedule, design change management)
  • Preparation of reporting on current and future design status (management of schedules and design changes)
  • Evaluating, organizing, prioritizing and assigning tasks and tracking design and engineering deliverables
  • Optimization of design and engineering workflow

Show your expertise

  • You have a degree in automation technology, process engineering, supply engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering or a similar course of study
  • You have several years of professional experience in the management and control of EPC projects in high-tech plant engineering
  • You are confident in dealing with engineering workflows and the most important systems (e.g. creation of P&IDs and 3D models, specification, system and functional description, simulation and calculation)
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills in German and English
  • You have exceptional organizational and coordination skills
  • A high willingness to travel and a readiness for long-term assignments on site are a matter of course for you
  • Knowledge of GMP guidelines or other documentation procedures is an advantage
