This is a pivotal role for a strategic leader with a proven track record of identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within the engineering sector. As Director of Business Development, you will be instrumental in shaping our future success by forging strong client relationships, exploring new markets, and driving sustainable revenue growth.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company's overall strategic objectives

  • Identify target markets, analyze industry trends, and develop go-to-market plans for new services and solutions.

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, industry events, targeted outreach, and strategic partnerships

  • Lead the development and delivery of compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients

  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies within the engineering sector.

  • Develop and manage sales forecasts, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports on business development activities and outcomes to senior management

Show your expertise

  • Bachelor's degree such as Business Administration, Business Management or relevant field

  • 5-7+ years relevant experience and proven track record in business acquisition.

  • Experience and exposure to working for/with a large EPC company.

  • Proven track record of successfully identifying, pursuing, and closing significant new business deals
