The  Specialist Lean Management, Training Development located in Malta, NY  is responsible for creating and maintaining accurate and relevant training standards and SOPs. This role also includes assisting with the development of training programs and managing employee training records.
 

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Training Needs Assessment:
    • Assist with Compiling and maintaining SOPs and relevant training curriculum for various roles including but not limited to Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Project Engineer, Project Accountant, Project Coordinator, Oracle, VDC, Estimating, Purchasing, Materials Management, Prefabrication, and Effective Labor Management.
  • Training Program Design and Development:
    • Ensure the accuracy, validity, and relevance of all training materials and SOPs
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts in the functional departments to obtain/develop engaging and effective learning content.
  • Training Delivery and Facilitation:
    • Help Facilitate training sessions for employees, including new hire orientation, onboarding programs, leadership development workshops, technical skills training, and soft skills training.
    • Coordinate with trainers, guest speakers, and external training providers as needed.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Collaborate with HR, department heads, and key stakeholders to align training initiatives with business goals and strategic objectives.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Coordinate staffing logs and manage training records for all employees in a centralized database.
    • Help create and maintain training videos based on SOPs.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned

Show your expertise

  • Associate Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related field required or 5+ years training experience    
  • Prior experience in construction project management
  • Prior experience in corporate training 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective communicator to all levels in the organization
  • Effective collaboration across functions and geographies
  • Ability to connect, inspire, and influence others without direct reporting relationships    
  • Travel as Needed
