Exyte are currently recruiting for a number of EHS specialists to join the team in our brand new project in Finland.
The successful candidates will advise the Construction team on health and safety matters and monitor the health & safety performance of the Project and its appointed sub-contractors. The EHS specialists will work closely with the EHS Manager to ensure safe practices and standards are met across projects.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
Advise management on matters pertaining to EHS.
Ensure implementation of company and legislative EHS requirements in all places that the company is undertaking activities
Advise company and project management on all aspects of health, safety and environmental issues
Advise the Managing Director and the Company Safety Manager of all serious accidents and incidents
Compile accident and incident reports
Assist with EHS programs and activities to promote safe conduct of workers.
Report and liaise with the management, relevant authorities on accident occurrence.
Conduct daily inspection and act on unsafe acts and conditions.
Train and monitor workers safe work practices.
Maintain and monitor EHS records and checklists.
Compile and regularly update EHS procedures, manuals, guidance notes and the like
Undertake site risk assessments as required
Conduct site safety and environmental audits
Show your expertise
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant field
2-6 years’ experience in Environmental Health and Safety on major construction projects, ideally within the Data Center industry
Key experience on Impact Prevention Management Systems, Safety Management Systems, Design Safety Risk assessment and Environmental Programs and Team / Group Leadership
Driving Licence & own transport
