Senior HVAC Engineer (Moscow, Russia)

Key role

- to provide high-quality cost effective engineering solutions for large industrial projects in pharmaceuticals, microelectronics and other industries, including clean rooms

Major Responsibilities

  • Development of design documentation on all stages – Concept, stage P, working documentation, tender documentation for heat, ventilation, air conditioning, cooling, desmoking extinguishing engineering systems
  • Provision of expert support to the Client during all stages of project implementation (design, construction, commissioning)
  • Participation in Technical Task development
  • Development of drawings, making calculation, selection of equipment, products and materials
  • Searching and selection of subcontractors if necessary, managing their works
  • Coordination / alignment designed systems with other engineering systems, structures, architecture
  • Review and complement user requirements specifications (URS)
  • Preparation of Component lists and bill of quantities for mechanical and cleanroom systems
  • Participation in budget preparation for the designed system
  • Participation in the preparation of the budget for the designed system
  • Adaptation of design document to Russian building standards and norms
  • Author supervision on construction stage
  • Management and coordination of commissioning and qualification



  • University degree in relevant engineering field
  • Experience in design of corresponding engineering systems min 5 years for large projects on all stages
  • Experience in the design of industrial facilities (pharmaceutical or microelectronic)
  • Deep knowledge of Russian design and construction norms, standards
  • Well familiar with clean rooms design and construction requirements, GMP standards
  • Good communication skills
  • English – intermediate and higher (oral and written); Russian - native
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Confident PC user (MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit)


Highly Desirable (but not essential)

  • Experience in author supervision on construction site
  • Work experience in supervising installation, commissioning and qualification during construction stage
