Job Summary:

 

The Manager Marketing Communications - USA is responsible for raising the visibility of Exyte and Senior Leadership through marketing/communications, public affairs, media relations, and community efforts.

 

Duties:

 

•Works closely with Senior Leadership and business units to develop and execute an integrated marketing and communications plan to advance and broaden awareness of Exyte identity in the region
•Manages ongoing regional marketing and communications initiatives, including story identification and mining; develop pitch ideas for media outreach; information gathering for project stories; coordination of project milestone events; production of collateral and giveaways; content development, team interviews, abstract writing  and production of local award and speaking opportunity submittals
•Manages local media activities by developing partnerships with local media relations agency contacts, building relationships with editors and reporters from top-tier local publications, and assisting senior leaders to engage with the media for interviews and editorial opportunities; leverage editorial relationships to reinforce Exyte brand through print and online media to reach a broader audience (i.e. third-party validation)
•Collaborates with appropriate leaders to develop and execute strategies to share local success stories externally and internally
•Represents Exyte and our interests by attending strategic business, industry and community events, and key meetings; make strategic recommendations for executive/BD participation in events, manage and track event participation, and measure effectiveness of event participation for future involvement
•Obtains in-depth knowledge of local Exyte projects and builds strong relationships with project teams to identify compelling success stories and opportunities to reinforce Exyte’s “lean construction” brand
•Develops strong relationships with leaders and influencers in the construction, architectural, engineering and developer communities to help identify appropriate contacts and opportunities to open doors for Business Development efforts, sponsorship opportunities, speaking opportunities, etc. Make strategic recommendations for executive relationships, manage/track relationship development and measure effectiveness of participation
•Collaborates and strategizes with Business Development to ensure visibility and branding strategies/tactics are aligned with regional business strategies and objectives; coordinate closely with pursuit teams to ensure alignment of key messaging, branding and strategies
•Directly supervises staff; including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving issues with department staff
•Other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

•Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Economics, Business or related field required
•Master’s degree preferred 
•7+ years of experience
