Senior SAP Specialist

Duties & Responsibilities

  • As part of SAP Global Team, renders effective support mainly to the HR team members across countries as assigned (e.g., Singapore, India, Malaysia, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Europe);

  • Responsible for SAP HR Modules – SAP Payroll, Personal Administration, Organisational Management, Time Management (Leave Application, Time evaluation, etc) and Travel Management.

  • Supporting payroll of Singapore, Malaysia, China, Vietnam and India.

  • Supporting the integration between SAP and Successfactor Employee Central.

  • Works on the integration from SAP to Non SAP systems such as e-timesheet and ensures that the systems are congruent with one another and data is accurate.

  • Responsible of the interface from SAP to external systems with encryption methodology.

  • Supporting data migration for project roll out.

  • Plans and works with users on the implementation of SAP HR Modules across the region;

  • Conducts user needs analysis and adapts the systems across countries to suit individual country requirements;

  • Ensures that country unique legal/statutory requirements are incorporated in the design of the system;

  • Works on solutions design, builds and implements the systems;

  • Provides end-user training in all aspects of SAP HR modules whenever required;

  • Ensures that all queries and requests from internal clients are attended to in a prompt manner;

  • Takes leadership of all SAP HR related projects and manages the project from commencement to conclusion;

  • Assists the SAP Leadership in developing and presenting new systems concepts, major propositions and solutions/deliverables for buy-in by management and end-users;

  • Investigates errors, systems bug and takes action to rectify the problem;

Requirements

  • 6 - 8 years in SAP payroll and SAP HR
  • Experience in working with technical team on data migration for HR and use of SAP data migration tools
  • Experience in configuring SAP authorisation for HR modules/users
  • Experience in assessing SAP HR technical risk and recommends the best course of actions to be taken
  • Experience in SAP Employee Self Service(ESS) would be advantageous
  • Experience in SAP Successfactor Employee Central & its Integration with SAP HR
  • Degree in Computer Studies, Information Systems or relevant discipline
  • Strong understanding of Singapore Payroll
  • Knowledge of multiple countries SAP payroll would be advantageous (i.e. India, Malaysia, China, Taiwan, Vietnam)
  • Knowledgeable in HR processes and SAP HR components and SAP Successfactor Employee Central.
  • Understands the SAP cross-modules interaction and ability to configure the SAP HR
