Main Responsabilities
  • Compilation of all necessary information for tenders/projects, monthly reports and presentation
  • Construction planning and liaising with clients, suppliers, building and facility contractors
  • Preparation of an optimum tender/project program, which can meet the client’s requirements/provision of a workable and cost effective Baseline/Master Program
  • Involvement in the development and control of Project Work Schedules, such as CSA works, MEP and Process Systems from concept design to construction/installation to testing and commissioning
  • Inputs the activity information into a project scheduling software and use an iterative process of time analysis to obtain an optimum time schedule
  • Calculates/Estimates the duration of each major construction activity and the resources requirements
  • Determines the optimum sequence of the activities
  • Coordination with project management, project team & suppliers
  • Monitor design progress, reporting, authorities matrix and similar management tools
  • Site visits to monitor the degree of completion and to optimize the planning effort
Your Profile
  • Completed technical education in the field of either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in the chemical, biotechnological or pharmaceutical industry. Experience in Building Construction is beneficial
  • Good Knowledge of MS-Office in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project.
  • Experience in Primavera is essential
  • Understanding of Codes and Engineering Standards of International Clients
  • Very good command of spoken and written German and English
  • Good teamwork and communication skills, flexibility and ability to work independently
  • Mobility and willingness to international project assignments
